JACK KIRBY'S BDAY & DEPOT DAY 2014 FUN!

Here's some fun from two events recently.

 The Comic Depot had it's annual 'DEPOT DAY'! Had a great time with friends, the shops staff, fellow comic creators & FANBOYS INC was there podcasting all the funness!!

Got in some sketchy time while hanging out. Here's a Joker sketch cover!

Also celebrated the amazing Jack Kirby at SHMALTZ BREWERY, which is a local micro-brewery in honor of the legendary Mr. Kirby's birthday!

There was 2 types of delicious brew made on location with one of a kind labels designed by the very talented & toy craftsman extraordinaire Paul Harding. I totally snagged a case of the nut brown ale!

Sketching collabs went down as part of the charity tied to the event which went to the Hero Initiative. Here's a couple jam pieces:

Yummy eats to merry with the beers & cakes featuring Kirby art covers provided by John Belskis of Excellent Adventures comic shop & Pizza cakes made by myself & Darren Carrara of The Comic Depot. The Kirby cakes made all kindsa sense for the event but the pizza cake... well, that was simply because it's cake that looks like pizza ;)

The event was a huge success & great times with good peeps & tasty brew so here's to another one next year!!
